Biography:
When Frank
B. Edwards was in university in the 70's he wanted to become
a reporter for newspapers but it didn't go the way he
planned. When he finished journalism school the newspapers
closed down! So he started a job on a geographic magazine in
Ottawa. Though he didn't know a lot about geography. Then he
noticed that he could learn anything if he tried. He spent
three years publishing magazines. He started writing
children's books in 1990 and has over 20 to his
credit.
Why he became a
writer:
Frank B.
Edwards became a writer when he met a cartoonist named John
Bianchi. One day John told Frank B. Edwards that he wanted
to write children's books, and then the two of them started
working together. That's how he became a
writer
Types of
books:
Frank B.
Edwards writes fiction books that are for young children and
also ones like Frogger
which are meant for kids 8 years old and up. His books are
liked by hundreds of children. He has a a good sense of
humour.
