Paul Yee

Biography:
Paul Yee was born in Spalding, Saskatchewan on October 1,1956. When he was two,he moved to Vancouver. He grew up there and went to university. There he began to rediscover his Chinese heritage. As a child, He loved reading, but disliked writing. Paul grew up in Vancouver's Chinatown. There he began to speak Chinese again and put Canadian and Chinese culture into his books. 

Why he became a writer:
The desire to write was something he developed in university.

Types of books:
Paul Yee writes mystery books. One is called Ghost Train. 

Achievements/Awards:
In 1996 he won an award for his book Ghost Train.
