Summary:
In this book a young 15 year old finds a blue stone while hunting in the Spine, a chain of mountains that are said to be cursed with bad luck. He brings the stone to the market and receives the startling information that the stone is hollow and is impossible to break without magic. One night the "stone" starts to emit strange sounds and to Eragon's surprise this stone breaks open to reveal a baby dragon. This ignites a startling chain of events involving danger, magic and suspense.

Rating:

This book is a four star because it was an excellent read even though some of its lines were a little cliché. An example of this is "may your swords stay sharp". This line is, in our opinion, in almost the exact style of the Lord of the Rings series. However it is an awesome book and we would recommend it all you readers who can't get enough good reads.
