Follow these easy steps to submit your book review for our website.

1. READ
   
    After reading a book, you can review the book providing the following information
   • name of book
   • Author
   • suitable age category
   • genre of book (mystery, adventure, realistic fiction, fantasy, sport, inspirational, history)
   • publisher, date published
   • number of pages
   • summary of book
   • rating (1-5 stars)- based on development of plot, setting, storyline, characters, use of language

   Scanned cover of reviewed book in gif or jpg format.
   

• Here is a file, example.htm , to help you make your page if you have an HTML editor like Claris Homepage or Frontpage. See a sample page created by kids.

1. E-MAIL

   Work can be submitted in two formats: as an attachment or  pasted into the message part of the e-mail.
   Submit your work by e-mail to:  dalia_naujokaitis@occdsb.on.ca
   In the subject box type kidlit (with name of author or book reviewed)
   In the text box of the e-mail: copy your students' work
   Attachments: if you have created an HTML file using our example, please send it as an attachment.

2. SUBMISSION INFORMATION
   We do not use last names of students on our website. The book critique will state only the first name and age or grade of student reviewer, school and location.

3. GRAPHICS
   Submit scanned images, photos or original student computer generated images as attachments..
   You must provide the source of your graphic or it will not be published.
   All graphic files should be saved in either gif or jpg format.
   Maximum size for graphics : 200X200, 250X150, 150X200 pixels.
