Our website, created by students, 9 to 12 years old, showcases Canadian heroes and heroines - past, present and future from various backgrounds, of different ages, professions and fields of endeavour. We hope that this project will encourage other students in Canada to reflect upon the traits and characteristics of people

• who have made a difference,
• who have excelled in their field of endeavour
• have made a contribution to the Canadian or global community
• who had to overcome great obstacles and disadvantages to reach their goals

This website will not only be an educational resource for students to learn more about Canadian contributions or Canadian "greats", but it will also provide an electronic library of student-chosen role models who can inspire kids to all be heroes and heroines, to stive high and be the best they can be.
