This website was created by P.G.L. students. P.G.L. stands for Program for Gifted Learners. It consists of students ranging from Grade 4 to Grade 6. On the upper right corner, we have Puggler, our mascot. You won't find the word "puggler" in the dictionary. It's a word that we made up meaning a fighter with a gentle heart. That's why we named our mascot Puggler. We are Pugglers, too, in a way. We fight for rights and try to promote peace in our communities and around the world. We come from a lot of different communities and schools in Ottawa , Ontario, Canada. We all meet at St. Elizabeth school once a week for P.G.L. We're smart but we're kids, too. We like sports, T.V., video/computer games, friends, books, pizza, etc.
We've been working on this website from Jan. 2002 to May 2002. We're very proud of how it's turned out. We decided to make this website because we think children need role models to look up to. We also wanted to discover our own Canadian heroes and heroines and show them off to the world. We did lots of research and put together "The Gallery" where Canadian heroes or heroines are showcased. We hope you have as much fun looking at our website as we did making it! WebQuest How to Join The Crew The Rap
