- WRITING
Before
you start make sure you have parental permission for your
students to participate in a web-based project. Feel free
to use our
letter
of permission.
Using the words of Martin Luther King Jr. , "I have a
dream" as starting point students share their vision
of peace for the new millennium. The writing should begin
and end with the words "I have a dream" and be from 3-7
lines long. Choose one idea, then elaborate by giving
examples or details.
Examples:
I have a dream...
That peace will prevail on earth.
Everyone can learn to forgive.
Everyone can learn to share.
Everyone can learn to listen.
And that includes me!
I have a dream.
|
I
have a dream...
That children in the world will be safe and free
from harm.
Every child deserves to have a family and a
home.
Every child should be able to go to bed without
hunger or worry.
I have a dream.
