Landmines Should be Banned FOREVER
All around the world innocent
people's lives are being taken or ruined by these deadly,
silent weapons. If we work together landmines will be a
thought of the past and happier lives will be lived in the
future. Here is our list of why landmines should be banned
FOREVER!

- Landmines take innocent
people's lives.
- Landmines prevent children
from going to school.
- Landmines were used to
kill people in wars, and everybody knows wars are very
bad.
- Landmines cannot be
detected unless you have expensive equipment.
- Landmines leave families
torn apart and scarred for life.
- People starve because they
cannot go into the farming fields and to market because
it is not safe.
- People are terrified to go
anywhere and they die because of this.
- People lose their limbs
because of landmines.
- They are planted in places
where it is very poor and it is very expensive to bring
in trained professionals to dismantle the
landmines.
- Landmines don't just kill
and damage humans, they kill and damage farms, animals,
and trees.
- People are unhealthy
because they cannot exercise outside.
- Landmines can cause forest
and/or other fires.
- People look at the
outdoors as something bad and that they should stay
inside all the time.
- Landmines are very hard to
get rid of.
- Landmines start
wars.
- People can't earn a living
because they cannot go outside safely.
- People can't run from
landmines.
- Landmines can stay in one
place for over 50 years in the ground.
- People who are sick can't
go to the doctor.
- New landmines that are
made of plastic cannot be detected because today's
detectors detect the metal shell of the
landmine.
- Most people don't know
they stepped on a landmine until it's too
late.
- Children don't know the
meaning of fun.
- It is hard to find
something to do when you are confined to your
house.
- Landmines destroy people's
lives forever.
- This happens to loved ones
of other people.....put yourself in their
shoes.
